Standards references

We reference NFPA 80, NFPA 101, the ADA 2010 Standards, the ANSI/BHMA A156 series, IBC Chapter 10, UL 10C and published SDI and HMMA tolerances because they are the documents that actually govern this work.

They are referenced accurately to the best of our knowledge and are not interpreted on your behalf. Adoption, amendment and enforcement vary by jurisdiction.

What we do not certify

We do not issue compliance certificates of any kind.
We do not issue fire door certificates or ratings.
We do not perform the annual NFPA 80 inspection as a standalone service.
We do not determine what rating your wall assembly requires.

We measure, we report what was measured, and we correct what can be corrected at the door. Anyone offering you a certificate for door hardware is overselling.
