This website provides general information about commercial door, frame and hardware installation. Using it does not create a contract, and nothing here is an offer capable of acceptance.

Quotations and scope

Any figure discussed before a site survey is indicative only.

• Written scopes issued after a survey set out what is included and what is excluded.
• Lead times quoted to you come from suppliers and manufacturers and are outside our control.
• Scope changes are agreed in writing before the work, not invoiced afterwards.
• The survey is quoted separately and before it takes place.

Accuracy of technical information

References to standards and codes on this site are general, and are published to help you understand what governs a commercial opening. They are not a substitute for the adopted code in your jurisdiction or for a determination by the authority having jurisdiction.

Adopted editions and local amendments differ between North Carolina and South Carolina. Fort Mill is a different jurisdiction from Concord and we treat it as one.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is architectural, engineering or legal advice. Where a question turns on what your building requires rather than on what a door can do, that question belongs to an architect, a fire protection engineer or the AHJ.
